Brown Bag Book Club Complete Reading List

One Response

  1. Hello, my name is Stephen Braley and I have written “They Never Really Leave.” I live in Rew, Pennsylvania and would very much appreciate your consideration of my book to share with your book club. It’s available on Amazon as well as the Hallmark Store in the mini plaza on the way to the Bradford Walmart. It is also available as a Kindle e-book on Amazon.com.

A romance story, my book is filled with humor, suspense and drama. After an unfortunate first meeting James Ball, a US sailor, and Mary Bauer, a waitress at the Chesapeake Crab House, are instantly attracted to one another, although Mary has sworn off dating military men because of some bad experiences in her past. Jimmy (James) is smitten with her beauty, she’s a gorgeous redhead with a ravishing body.

Jimmy pursues Mary not willing to take her “no’s” for an answer and eventually they date, fall in love and marry. But Jimmy is scheduled to ship out of port soon. They make the most of their time together before he leaves. When his ship reaches its destination, off the coast of Vietnam, disaster strikes and WWII ordinances and jet fuel are exploding on the flight deck, engulfing the ship with blazing fires and destruction. What follows are a series of twists-and-turns that make the pages fly by as you read.

I believe you would find my work entertaining and gripping. Please consider it for review with your book club.

    Thanks so much,

    Stephen M. Braley
