Dig Into Music with Chorduroy this Thursday!

The Olean Public Library is pleased to present the Chorduroy Barbershop Quartet this Thursday, June 27th at 7pm.

This quartet may make brushing noise when they walk while dressed in corduroy outfits but otherwise they make beautiful harmonies the rest of the time. Chorduroy has been around since 2002 and has undergone a metamorphosis every few years as new member might come in and another moves on. Chorduroy is a home grown Olean Chapter quartet although three of the guys are also members of the Seneca Junction Chorus. The current singers are Marshall Allen – bass, Ted Norton – tenor, Peter Kurzdorfer – baritone, and Pat Close singing lead. Chorduroy is very active in the Salamanca and Olean chapters and provide musical entertainment for all kinds of occasions for the betterment of the Southern Tier communities of Western New York.

This event is free and open to the public.  The Olean Public Library is located at 134 N. 2nd St. Olean, NY.  For more information on this or any of our other summer events call (716) 372-0200 or visit http://www.oleanlibrary.org.Image
